It has been widely reported that Steve Irwin has died as a result of a sting ray attack about midday today while filming a documentary near the Low Isles (off Port Douglas, QLD).

Apparently Terri (his wife) is currently hiking at Cradle Mountain - so who know's if she knows yet?

It was reported today that Steve Irwin died as a result of a string ray attack - this is incorrect.
The sting ray refused to take part in Steve's new doco on the underwater mafia, instead he told a twisted story of love and betrayal regarding his best friend sammy the swordfish and his ex-wife penelope the porpoise.
Steve broke down as he took the sting ray's sworded tale to heart.
ohh dear - that's terrible!
I went to the local seafood takeaway last night, and they had a new meal on the menu. It was call the Irwin, neoprene, white meat and heart on a skewer.
Apparently Steve forgot to put on sunscreen that morning.
Shame, it may have protected him from all those harmful rays.
