Lunch and tasting at Meadowbank Estate

Went to Meadowbank Estate for lunch with Chelle, Tim and Ness on Sunday.

The food was fantastic and the wine was even better... We had a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc between us (mostly Timmy) while Chelle has the Grace Elizabeth Chardonnay and I splashed out on the Henry James Pinot Noir.... ohh YUM!!!

Easter trip to Broome

Chelle and I went to Broome for Easter, flew out first thing Good Friday and didn't leave till the following Sunday night - 9 nights in the tropical Pearl Capital of the world.

Chelle, Jas and I went and did the tour at Willie Creek Pearl Farm - it was really cool to see how they farm the pearls, and why they are worth sooo much. Here's a close up of a pearl oyster and the little crab that keeps him clean.

Went for a drink at the local micro-brewery "Matso's" - they had a range of beers, all with their own picture on the wall. Probably their best drop for my liking was the Monsoonal Blonde - yummy wheat beer!
