Another weekend at the shack
It was a VERY relaxing weekend at the shack.... really didn't do much at all.
Drinkies and cards after much meat for dinner on Friday night.
After some killer eggs & bacon etc. on Saturday morning we ambled down to the beach and just lied a around in the sun for a few hours... as you can see by my red face!! Can't believe it though - sun baking, in TASMANIA, in SEPTEMBER!!! damn!
We headed back up to the shack and sat around the BBQ area for the rest of the day just chatting and drinking. After feasting on another round of scrumptions BBQ meats for dinner we were going to head inside to play cards, but the power went out. So we stoked up the firepot and stayed outside till about 12:30am just banging on - here's the source of our heat for the evening.
Sunday morning Nick and Michelle and I went for a quick walk up into the saddle that has the lookout over Wineglass Bay. They are doing some serious track work up there and it will be sooo much safer for the Nanna's when they want to do this "easy" (read: easy, but STEEP at times) walk.
And here's the view of Wineglass Bay from the lookout. Unfortunately these photo's were all taken with the camera in my phone, so they aren't the best quality... but hey - it was a BEAUTIFUL day!
