4 Wheeling with Timmy

A late minute substitution with Ness saw me off on my first real 4WD adventure. [By 4WD adventure I mean in a bunch of guys with toys tricked up for the sole purpose of tearing up muddy tracks, getting stuck and helping each other out again. Of course the aim isn't to get stuck, but it invariably happens - like climbing, if you don't fall off, you aren't trying hard enough.]

I was at Tim's place in Blackman's Bay by 8am on a Sunday (what a crime!), and it was off to Hounville to meet up with the rest of the crew for the day.

7 cars in all: Tim's Rodeo, his little brother Breno's Zook, Breno's mate Nick's Zook flat tray, Dave's Hilux, an old 60 series Cruiser, a Ford Courier and this machine of shorty Patrol. Certainly looked an eclectic mix of vechicles heading out of Huonville down through Judbury on our way to Weld River.

Breno charging through the bog in the Zook

Timmy being dragged out of the same bog hole

Nick's steaming mess in the flat tray Zook

The shorty Patrol

Too much sun on that corner - Breno couldn't help but parking in the ditch

The rescue mission - Thanks Dave and Timmy!!

Not exactly the straightest of machines!
