Welcome to Roma
So I finally made it!!
The flight out of Melbourne was delayed because they couldn't close a hatch at the front of the plane; the flight from Sydney was delayed due to a previous lightening strike (they had to run full electronic diagnostics over the whole plane); and the flight from Honk Kong to Roma was delayed due to I have no idea what....
So anyways, I made it - about 36 hours of travel time and I arrived at the flat where Megan and I are based till we leave Roma. Just walked passed the Colleseum (Colosseo), OHH MY GOD - massive reality check!! I am overseas!! Quite funny given that I was watching Russell Crowe in The Gladiator not 6 hours ago!
Anyways, not much else has happened apart from the massive airport journey so far...
I am sure all is well back home, hell I have only been gone a day and a half.

Buon giorno Richard and Megan
So looks like you didn't meet at Trevi Fountain....all must have gone well from the Roma end at least.hope Megan had a great birthday. VINO AND PIZZA perhaps.
