BUGGER ...!!!

I spent like the best part of an hour in Florence writing what I had been up to and i get back here today to find that it didn't post properly... teach me for not checking...

OK - so the abridged version

3 nights in Roma - did all the important things: sistine chapel, the popes tomb, spanish steps, trevi fountain, colleseum, the forum... just walking around Roma was amazing - SO OLD!!!

4 nights in Sorrento (down south) - from here we took one day to see Capri (spent most of our time there at Anacapri on the other side of the island), one day on a vespa driving along the Amalfi coast (went for a swim in the big blue Med. sea, and saw Positano - Catriona Roundtree reviewed this on Getaway a few months ago) and the third day at Pompeii, it's amazing that the city is so well preserved.. even saw some people that were swapped by the mud and gas and have become petriied over the years!!

3 nights in Florence (north of Roma) - went to the Uffizi and saw a whole bunch of Renaissance art.. not really my scene. The Ponte Vecchio (only bridge in Florence not to be destroyed in WWII) was pretty cool! The second day we went on a day trip to Siena - that place was awesome!!! Cool little medieval town in the middle of Tuscany, absolutely unreal scenery!!! Went up the bell tower (REALLY HIGH) and got a great view of the surrounding countryside.

Now we are in Bologna, only 1 night here then off to Venice. Being the home of spagheti bolognese we had to partake in said meal for dinner... it was bellisimo! And the cuppacino's here are pretty damn good too!!

Anyways, that's where we are at so far. Really getting into this travel thing... such a shame really, have to skip so many things - just not enough time to see everything...

Ciao bella!
(Bye beautiful)

;op

The chicks dig it!
